Safety in the long termDr. Timothy Wilens of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, along with several of his colleagues, published results of a study concerning the use of CONCERTA® in 407 children, ages 6-13, for up to two years. The results showed that CONCERTA® was safe when used as a long-term ADHD therapy.Children with ADHD who were enrolled in the study received CONCERTA® (18-54 mg initially, with dosing adjustments based on any clinical conditions) over a two-year period. In general, ADHD treatment with CONCERTA® was well tolerated. The doctor will monitor your child for potential CONCERTA® side effects, including changes in height and weight. NEXT STEPS:
